Zellers was the largest discount department store in Canada, founded by Walter P. Zellers in 1931. It was acquired by the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) in 1978.Zellers had about 350 locations in Canadian cities like Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Vancouver.
